Plymouth’s first-ever History Festival: May 2013

Various locations throughout the city
Wednesday 1 to Friday 31 May 2013

Plymouth’s first-ever History Festival will take place in May 2013.

The aim of the Festival is to highlight and celebrate Plymouth’s unique history and heritage. We hope to offer at least 50 different events for people of all ages and interests throughout the month.

The full programme is currently being finalised and will be officially launched in the New Year.

It will include displays, talks, guided walks, tours, family-friendly workshops and special events such as Local Studies Day 2013, Lord Mayor’s Day 2013 and Museums at Night 2013.

If you have any general enquiries about the Festival, please get in touch by sending an email to museumevents@plymouth.gov.uk

If you’d like to get involved in the Festival by running a public event during May 2013 you can also contact us with your ideas at the same email address.

In the meantime, keep checking this site for up-to-date information as it’s confirmed. You can also sign up to our Facebook and Twitter pages to stay in the loop with developments.
