Family History and a Glimpse Behind the Scenes

There are lots of opportunities to glimpse behind the scenes of the City’s heritage with Plymouth History Festival tomorrow (13 May). You can listen to recordings of politicians and Council officers who were involved in the rebuilding of the City after the Blitz at Plympton Library, take a guided walk along the line of the Palmerston Forts towards Crownhill Fort and see the interior of Woodlands Fort, or enjoy a guided tour of the official residence of Plymouth’s Lord Mayor (limited places only). What’s more, there’s a beginners’ Family History Workshop on offer at the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office!
