Busy, busy Wednesday

Wednesday 22 May is a really busy day for the Plymouth History Festival! There are still lots of things going on in Plympton/Plympton St. Maurice including a special display, a Church Open Day, a treasure hunt and ‘A Tale of Sugar, Beer and Tobacco’ talk. A tour of Buckland Abbey, a talk at Mount Edgcumbe, a walk and talk in Plymstock and a display in North Prospect also feature on today’s programme. Meanwhile, in the city centre you can listen to historic recordings at the Central Library, take a tour of the synagogue, enjoy a tour or an organ recital at St Andrew’s Church or take in the Humanities and Performing Arts Showcase or a Global Book Club at Plymouth University.
