You’ve made it through Monday, and Tuesday has a huge range of events to make the week fly by. Fancy listening to a talk? Plympton Library is discussing Plympton in Pictures, whilst Ford Park Cemetery has a talk on Disease in Victorian Plymouth (I promise you; it’s gripping stuff). Plymouth City Museum has a talk on the Lighter Side of World War 1, with a Q+A session afterwards. If engineering is your field of interest, there’s a talk on Maintaining the Character of Brunel’s Historic Royal Albert Bridge: A Major Strengthening and Refurbishment Project from 6-8pm at Plymouth University. Did you miss the guided talk on the garden buildings at Saltram House last Tuesday? Not to worry, it’s on again tomorrow. The Heritage Tree Walk is also on again tomorrow, from 5-6pm, along with a guided tour of the Forgotten Stables at Saltram House. Plympton St. Maurice is busy, with an open day of the church, and the Historic Plympton exhibition at the Guildhall. There’s also an opportunity to take a guided tour around St. Andrew’s Church and Prysten House, and an organ recital by Christine Lewis in St. Andrew’s Church at 1pm. See you tomorrow!
