Talks, tours, and everything inbetween

Because it’s the middle of the week, Wednesday is usually considered rather boring, but not this Wednesday. We’ve got tonnes on for you tomorrow, and it’s all amazing. Plympton St. Maurice has everything, from an open day of Plympton St. Maurice Church, to a guided tour of Plympton St. Maurice itself, and the Historic Plympton exhibition is in the Guildhall for the final day before it moves. If you fancy a walk, then Buckland Abbey has an in-depth tour on offer, and there’s a tour of Gifford Cemetery too. If you’re stuck in work all day, then come down and discover Devonport Park, from 7-9pm. If you’d rather sit down than walk about, then Plympton Library has a talk on the Plym Valley Railway, the Central Library is hosting a talk on the Three Towns 1914: A Social History, and Plymouth City Museum has a history bite on The Bug Life of George Carter Bignell. There’s plenty to do tomorrow, so have a browse and see what takes your fancy.
