The weekend is almost upon us! We have events for the whole family tomorrow, such as a children’s quiz at Plympton Library, or the Fish, Ships, and Lighthouses event at Smeaton’s Tower. If you feel like a walk in the sun, then you can beat the bounds of Devonport in two separate walks, morning or afternoon. We’ve got guided tours of Plympton Priory Site and Plympton St. Mary’s Church, Plympton St. Maurice, and Plymouth Synagogue. There’s also a guided walk, From France to Friary, which meets at St. Judes Church. The exhibition Historic Plymouth is open for its last day at Plympton Library, so make sure you see it before it goes. If living history is your cup of tea, then Crownhill Fort is hosting a Living History Open Weekend, with plenty of action and excitement. In the evening there’s an Opera Gala Concert in St. Andrew’s Church, and a talk on Freemasonry and its Historic Connection with Plymouth, which sounds fascinating. We hope to see you there.
